In the future, try going to the Caltrans Web site, and you probably could even try calling them for information on closures.
If anything (streets, highways) will be closed, such information should be posted on their site.
And check out any number of traffic Web sites, such as sigalert.com, to check out traffic flow. Those are updated every few minutes or so.

There is only one freeway, and it will only be closed if some moron causes an accident bad enough to require the road to be closed for clean up.

freeways DONT close n here in a(ustin)tx I-35 is always crowded w.cars even on holidays unless thers bad weather conditions

There is only 1 freeway, the I-15. Will is be closed due to bad weather. We won’t know until the morning.
