Whats The Weather Like In Los Angeles At Christmas Time?
I was just wondering what the weather was like in Los Angeles at Christmas. I no Australia its summer at Christmas and in England its winter.
So is it hot or cold in Los Angeles at Christmas? is it summer or winter?

sometimes it’s mid 60s. sometimes it’s in the 30s. sometimes it’s raining. sometimes it’s 80.
We froze our butt off at Disneyland on New Years Eve this year.

There’s really no way to tell what it’s going to be like from one year to the next. When I grew up there, it could be cold and rainy, or hot and sunny. Sometimes we would have to stay home bundled up against the cold and sometimes we rode our bikes to the beach for the day.
The only time you really know what the weather is going to be like in Southern California, particularly along the coast, is May and June. The marine layer comes way inland and hangs there all day, making it cool and cloudy every day. We call this May Gray and June Gloom. August and September are usually pretty hot and dry. But, even then there’s no guarantees.

It’s usually cool here. Average Temps in the 60′s, lows in the 40′s. However, we can get rain, or if the Santa Ana Winds blow, it can be in the 80′s.
Academically, it’s winter, but you can’t really call it that.

It’s smoggy about 300 out of the 365 days of the year.
But to answer your question, Christmas occurs during the Winter months. On average, it’s about 55 degrees there in December.

It’s winter in Los Angeles too but it’s probably around 60-70º F.

It’s NOT sunny and warm like in the movies. It actually gets kind of cold!

We get frost all over our lawn! Really!
In the winter, it can get in the 30′s in the morning..
It’s been rainy and windy lately over here, but I love it.

My friend went there in the winter and she said that it was nice but really windy. Its still warm though.
